Condition and Inspection
Opting for a used shipping container through Spinnaker Leasing & Equipment means that you will know exactly what you’re signing up for before you receive your container. Our dedicated expert staff assesses each and every used container based on a thorough grading system. These grades, A through C, allow consumers to gauge the quality of their used container and understand the exact amount of wear and tear the container currently displays. Understanding what these grades say about the value and functionality of your unit is a helpful tool. Learn more about the grading system below.
Grade A: Grade A containers look like new and have minimal wear and tear on both the inside and the outside, making them cargo worthy. Both structurally sound and in good cosmetic condition, these containers meet the highest industry standards.
Grade B: Grade B containers are typically less aesthetically pleasing than their Grade A counterparts, but they still provide solid protection for their contents. They are windtight and watertight, so you can trust that your items will be protected during their time in these shipping containers.
Grade C: Grade C containers are on the older side, so they are a bit more noticeably weathered. These containers have often been through some repairs. However, they still provide solid storage despite their marked flaws.
